1. Journal Entry by "Sean Michaels"; a student, 16 years:
Today I got up early, because I went running before our family breakfast. That was very good to run in the morning, because it`s not to early and it always blows unnecessary thoughts away. That helps me to be better in school, because I`m able to get more information and to remember those information. Furthermore I feel more comfortable and I`m less tired. Okay our family breakfast was like every day. We had a good time and discussed the plans for the week.
In school I had quiet a few "fun" classes and a few advanced classes. I think my Spanish class is probably the most challenging one. My other clases are PE, Math, Dance, English, Sports Team practise, Photography and Design. My schoolday was pretty normal and many classes were fun.
After school I went to the sport team practised. Today we worked out really hard to get in shape, but it was fun though, because many friends of mine are on the team, too.
When I got home I were really tired. First I finished my homework and afterwards I took a nap. I woke up right before dinner. All my brothers and sisters and my mum and dad were eating together. I really like that, because then you can always talk about your day and that`s really enjoyable. I`m always happy to see my family again after a hard day! After dinner I met some friends and we talked and hang out. In the late evenings I came back home and now I´m writing this essay about my normal daylife.
2. Journal Entry by "Sidney Barns"; part-time working mom, 35 years
Today was a special day! It was the day of Indepence of "Candyland". Nearly nobody had to go to work or school. All my kids stayed at home and my husband, too. We drove to the capital and we enjoyed all those flags and the nice mood, everybody was in. Actually I do really like our flag with our representive lion! It`s really cool. Anyways, we spent our day at the capital and we went as a family to a huge pool. That is kind of a tradition from our family to go to the pool on "Independence Day". Usually it`s really hot, because it`s in the summer. Today we had wonderful weather and there were about 100 degrees. My kids really enjoyed swimming and having a fun time. When we came back home we went to a nice restaurant for having dinner. At dinner we teached our children about the "Independence Day". Then we got home and everybody fell asleep, because we were very tired of the day.
§. Journal Entry by Robert Sparks; worker and dad, 37 years
Today is sunday. We decided that we`ll only have the dinner in the evening together and the rest of the day we can do whatever we want. My kids chose to hang out with their friends. My wife and I enjoyed the nice and quiet time without the kids. Actually the sunday is my lazy day. I used to go running in the mornings but the rest of the day I am lazy. Many people also go to church, but I don`t really like going to church, because I think that I don´t need to go to a certain building to be close to the "Father". That`s fine for me and all the others. In the evening after family dinner we invited some friends to watch the newest movie we have. I really enjoyed that and when everybody left, I went to bed early. I usually go early to bed on sundays, because then I`ll have mor power for the next working week.

6. Governing Body
We think that the perfect structured government doesn`t exist yet. So we will create a new structured government. It will have main influences of democracy, anarchy and communism.
Wow that sounds very confusing, doesn`t it?
Okay let us explain the most important structures of our government. From the communism comes that everybody gets the same value of goods and money.
Then there will be established two house of parliament. The one is based on democracy and the other one is based on anarchy. The democratic house is called "House of Parliament". The anarchic house is named "House of the Nation".
The "House of Parliament" will have elections every 5 years and will be elected by everybody older than 15 years. There will be no parties aloud, who want to rule by themselves. (a minority over a majority) Furthermore all parties, that have racist visions are excluded from the elections.
The "House of the Nation" is a public institution. Everybody can go there. (older than 15 years) They will vote for or against laws. No law can be passed without an agreement of both of the houses. One house will check the other house! Furthermore has the "House of the Nation" the ability to apply for a change of laws and/or to create new necessary laws.
No single person or partie will be able to have the power to rule two or three of the main branches. The three main branches are the executive, the legislative and the judicial branch.

2. Declaration Of Independence
Our Utopian society is based on charity and friendship. When somebody needs help, he should get help from friends or neighbors. Because some day the person, who helped an other person will need some help from other people. So everybody helps the others and the relations between people become better.
Everybody will be treated equal not based on his or her abilities. Nobody is more valuable for the society than someone else. Those people with different abilities will make our society even stronger and won`t weaken our society.
Candy for everybody. Everybody will get food and candy for free, when he is doing his work. When somebody doesn`t go to work, because he doesn`t want to, he won`t get gratis food supply. The same thing happens to kids, who won`t go to school.
The biggest difference between our Utopian society and other societies is the mentality of the people. Nobody will get jealous, because everybody gets the same amount of values. The people are willed to help other people and are not selfish. They don`t care just about themselves and to get the best for themselves. Sport will play a mayor role in the society. But not only sport plays a mayor role in the society, also people with great art skills and great musicians will be advanced!

3. Our Utopian Motto
Our Motto is:
"Let life be like eating a huge candy!"
When everybody gives his or her best, then everybody should be able to come home without having problems. Every day the people should enjoy living and life should be easy like "eating a huge candy".
4. Our Utopian Animal
http://naturfotographen-forum.de/data/media/16/L%c3%B6we::Michael_Schuto_.jpg
We chose the lion as our representative animal for the utopia. The reasons for this choice are the things the lion symbolizes. We think those abilities are important for a real utopia.
The Lion represents:
- acceptance of life
- heartiness
- braveness
- power/energy
- vitality
- freedom
- proudness
-authority
- creative power
- large-heartedness
- equilibrium
- assertiveness
- self-assurance
- a strong will

1. Name of our Utopia - "Candyland"
The name of our utopia is "Candyland". It has two different reasons, why we chose this name.
The first reason is obvious. Our Utopian country lives from the candy production and that's the first reason, why we chose this name.
The second reason is more metaphoric. The name "Candyland" sounds like, everything would be easy and wonderful. That is how our utopia should be. So I think the name represents our utopia very good.
